Trio Floreo
Harp I Cello I Clarinet
Sandra Macher I Charlotte Hirschberg I Katrin Fesel
The Trio Floreo was founded in spring 2019 by the musicians Sandra Macher (harp), Charlotte Hirschberg (cello), and Katrin Fesel (clarinet). On June 28, 2019, they made their debut at the Redoute of the University of Music and Performing Arts.
The exceptional combination of instruments- harp, cello, and clarinet- opens a wide sound spectrum and enables the listener to experience new music. Their signature piece is the "Trio for a Spry Clarinet, Weeping Cello and Ruminating Harp" by the Israeli composer Gilad Cohen.
The trio aims to unlock the potential of the instruments, harp, cello, clarinet and collaborates with contemporary composers to bring new musical ideas to life.
They dedicate their musical work as a trio also to educational contexts and perform concerts for new audiences, such as the children`s concert "Aurora Saitenspiel" (Premiere in October 2019 at the University of Music and Performing Arts Graz).
